Introduction Thread!

Since the site is pretty much new and more people will probably sign up i thought it could be cool with a introduction thread. So, this is me;

I love gaming (duh..), im into almost most genres of gaming; Classic games like Super Mario and Battletoads to Black Ops and the Final Fantasy series. I'm a 22 year old dude from Norway, been skateboarding for about 8-9 years and im a fan of a great party every now and then.

I'm into storytelling/conscious hiphop/rap for the most part when it comes to music. I also try to write my own lyrics for fun as well. The artists range from people like Eminem and Immortal Technique to K-Rino, Canibus, AOTP and The Demigodz. I can easilly put on some Bonobo, Shpongle, Amethystium, game music or SOAD, The rolling stones etc. to change it up a little bit.

Gaming FTW. No better way to kill time, or just procastinate. I'm into FPS (Modern Warfare 2, Bad Company 2, L4D2 (if that's even an FPS...? Idk.)) Some racing, only simulators though. Some action and of course, most of the zelda series. I'm 25 from Quebec - canada (i'm french, don't hate), and when i'm not gaming, i'm playing guitar.

Tell me though Tensor, who doesn't like to party every now and then? I sure do. Give me a beer, some good music and it's on.

Ello, my name is Enzer Milliard(well you can call me that anyway), I am a 21 year old guy going to college for computer science. I love playing games and must say I may be a little too obsessed with games AND anime. I play a lot of First Person Shooters (mainly L4D2 and Killing Floor and I play a bit of Bad Company 2 from time to time, but I have many other games), but I'll play just about anything (except tactics games like Final Fantasy Tactics and the Front Mission (not evolved), for some reason I just can't get into them).

While my Xlive account is Enzer, I am never on my 360, but I do have steam. Also you can catch me on xfire as samshir. Heh But yes i am a gamer started back with an old comador 64's calico visions and atari, Before you go thinking im old, well im 30 so kinda old i guess, Known Master G (one of the founders of Hug a Gamer) for many moons... did some photography for him for one of the events too.
Games i enjoy are RPGs ,anything entertaining, old games, graphics are not everything gameplay is! although i do love my ps3 for its graphics and games. I have a xbox 360 as well for certain games i like. fable 1 2 and 3 being one of them I absolutly love the final fantasy series as well. Played them all , yes even 14.. although stopped shortly after starting that one.. least my computer plays it lag free FPS games I also enjoy, especially online even though i havent played them so much as of late.

Im also involed in a LARP as well, freinds games women and fun what more could you ask for.. and sorry ladies im not single

And yes my spelling is and always has been horrible

My nickname is Moroko or Master G and "G" is what my friends call me. Why "G", well not cause im into hiphop or things like that. Its more cause my First name is Gilles and most of you English speaking people cant properly pronounce it. So all my English friends call me "G".

Im a Jack-of-all-Trades! I love anime, Gaming, Camping and well just read all that stuff in the rest of my profile.

I'm Kay. Hello. I'm a 23 year old gamer from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, currently a Combat Engineer in the Canadian Armed Forces. I've taken up the title "The Chaplain of the Game" because gaming is the most sacred thing in my life. When all else abandons me, I will still have my games.

I've had several gamernames over the years (NapalmNick, TheChaplain, TheProfessor to name a few) but the one I favor I came up with when I was 12. I was spelling Hercules in my head, when "Testocules" came out. I thought to myself, "Sweet merciful cr*p-f*ck! That's awesome! I need to use this!" I've been using it since, and even after 11 years, I still think It's just as awesome. I have, however decided to assume "The Chaplain" for Hug-a-Gamer, as this is my opportunity to assist the Gamer Community, and there is no better title I could think of for it.

I play a little of everything except for racing games (with the exception of Mario Kart), fighting games (Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, etc.), and sports games (I play sports with my unit weekly, I don't need that at home). I'm big into MMORPGs like World of Warcraft, and have been known to the groups I play with to go off on my own and instruct and new players, earning me the title "The Professor." I tend to favor the healing classes, and have been healing my way across no less than 4 MMOs (WoW, Guild Wars, Warhammer Online, and Star Wars Galaxies).

I Met Gilles (Master G) in basic training, where we would hold LAN parties with several other people for the purpose of Moral boosting.

The games I'm anticipating the most in the future are Duke Nukem: Forever, and Star Wars: The Old Republic.

I am a member of the Canadian Armed forces as a former Infanteer and currently as a communications specialist. I am also friends/co-workers with Master G and the Chaplain.

I am a console gamer first and foremost. I play the Xbox 360.

My gaming habits as of late have been a lot of Call of Duty Black Ops, Dance Central, Fallout New Vegas and Mass Effect.

My XBLA has been mostly games such as Monkey Island and Sam & Max.

I love camping, shooting, gaming, running and watching funny shows like family guy, the Cleavland Show, American dad and the Big Bang Theory.

I have a wonderful wife (that the chaplain constantly hits on) a 3 year old son who is already turning into a gamer and various fuzzy animals scattered around the house.

Yes, well, I am Dover (known IRL as Pontus Doverstav). Yes indeed, I took my gamertag from my last name. Though, due to it being the name of a city in southern england, it is quite frequently taken, so at some occassions I nickname Doverstav or Nikanor instead.

I am 17 years old, so I'm still stuck in school where I where I study a mixture of nature science and programming. My hope is that the programming will someday culminate in me producing a game myself.

The games I play atm are mostly Starcraft 2 and some single player RPG:s. I do on occasions play some FPS with my friends, but I'm quite bad, so it's not that amusing...

I suppose that's about it!

Joline here (Jo if you really must shorten it)! Yet another proud Canadian, although I'm not in the Forces. I work tech support instead; I get to tell Americans why they shouldn't break their websites all day long. (I do webhosting, domains and email tech support -- but I don't do coding! Not yet, anyway..)

I have an unhealthy obsession with a number of video game series, a bit too many to name here. I've recently (and happily) discovered Munchkin; I also play tabletop games, board games, LARP... Hell, you name it, gaming-wise, and I'm probably into it!

Some of my favourites (aside from RPGs, which were and remain my one true gaming love) in board games are those that you build as you go.. you know, Zombies!!!, Betrayal at the House on the Hill, and other such gems. If they allow (or encourage) backstabbing, all the better!

Let's see, what else? I have a strange sense of humor, which allows me to survive in a household filled with six other gamers, one of which happens to be my boyfriend.

I also engage in free-form RPGs, whether they are forum-based or through chat systems (which, yes, includes IRC); one such game has been ongoing for quite some time now and has been an absolute blast! I stumbled across a damnably good group for this one.
